CLI agent

Antigravity CLI

Google's terminal agent for the Antigravity platform, run with the agy command. It understands your codebase, makes edits with your permission and runs commands. It is the home for the Google account access that used to go through Gemini CLI.

Free tier MCP support

Pricing

Google's Antigravity pricing page lists an Individuals plan at $0 a month, with basic weekly rate limits, plus Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra plans with larger limits. Google's docs don't give numeric quotas, and Pro and Ultra prices aren't shown on that page. Business use through Google Cloud is priced separately. Check antigravity.google/pricing before you rely on any limit.

Pros

  • Sign in with a personal Google account and start on the free plan
  • One-line installer for macOS, Linux and Windows, then run agy
  • MCP servers, skills, hooks, subagents and plugins are supported
  • Reads AGENTS.md and GEMINI.md project instructions
  • Can run a single prompt from a script with agy -p
  • Shares its engine with the Antigravity desktop app, so sessions can be reviewed there

Cons

  • Google's docs don't state an open-source licence, unlike Gemini CLI, which is Apache 2.0
  • Google says it does not have one-to-one feature parity with Gemini CLI yet
  • Free and plan usage is rate limited, and the docs give no numbers
  • By using it you agree to let Google collect Interactions data, though you can opt out in settings
