Find the project's package manager from its lockfile, then list outdated dependencies with its own command (for example `npm outdated`, `pip list --outdated` or `cargo outdated`). If $ARGUMENTS names a package, look at only that one.

For each outdated package, report:

- Current version, latest version, and whether the jump is a patch, minor or major release.
- Whether it is a runtime or a development dependency.
- What the changelog or release notes say about breaking changes. Read them from the package's own repository or the files installed locally. If you cannot find them, say so rather than guessing.
- Where the project uses it, so the user can see what might break.

Finish with a suggested order: patch and minor updates first, major updates one at a time.

Do not install, update or edit anything. Ask first, and run the project's tests after each upgrade the user approves.
