Stripe

Stripe's hosted server. Lets your AI client work with your Stripe account and search Stripe's docs. Signs in with OAuth: run /mcp inside Claude Code to authenticate. You choose whether to grant access to live accounts or sandboxes, so start with a sandbox and turn on your client's tool-approval setting to review calls before they run. The old @stripe/mcp package is deprecated.

Claude Code

Claude Desktop

Install the official Stripe connector from the Claude connector directory (on the web or in Claude Desktop), choose Connect to Claude, then sign in to Stripe.

Cursor

Add the JSON config below to ~/.cursor/mcp.json.

OpenAI Codex

codex mcp add stripe --url https://mcp.stripe.com (then run codex mcp login stripe if Codex doesn't prompt you to sign in)
